Homoeopathy Vs Breast Cancer

                                                       BREAST CANCER

Breast cancer is a harmful disease but we do not know the exact cause behind it. There are some risk factors that makes it more likely that a women will have a breast cancer. The factors are-

1 Age-As the age increases the chances of getting breast cancer also increases. The condition is critical among women above 50 years of age. About 8–10 cases of breast cancer occur among women over 50.

2 Family history-If some one in your family has had breast cancer then there are high chances of developing breast cancer. It happens due to the genes which are passed from the parent to the child.

3 Radiation- Medical procedures use radiations such as X-rays and scans which increases the risk of developing a breast cancer.

4 Contraceptive pill- Many women take contraceptive pills. Research has shown that women prone of taking contraceptive pills have greater chance of developing breast cancer.

5 Periods at younger age- Occurring of periods is a natural process but beginning your period before 12 is one of the factor of concern.

6 Alcohol-Research shows that women who takes two alcoholic drinks a day have three times more chances of developing breast cancer than a women who doesn’t drink.

7 Hormone replacement therapy(HRT)- Women taking HRT have more chances of developing the disease but it returns to normal once you stop taking HRT

8 Obesity- Obesity is a major factor of concern. Obesity leads to produce more oestrogen which results in causing breast cancer.

There are many factors which could lead to development of Breast cancer. Everything done by you should be done in a limit as it reduces the chances of causing the disease.

2nd report—-

NEW YORK: Treating breast cancer patients with chemotherapy and radiation may increase their risk of developing cardiovascular diseases, the American Heart Association has warned.

With the advances in treatment, there has been a growing number of breast cancer survivors. However, survivors above the age of 65, were more likely to die from heart disease than breast cancer, the new study showed.

Targeted therapies for breast cancers like HER-2 could cause weakening of the ..

Prompting attention to the fact that during treatment not only ones breast health, but also general health, including that of the heart, should be considered, the researchers suggested.

"Any patient who is going to undergo breast cancer treatment, whether they have heart disease at the beginning or not, should be aware of the potential effects of the treatments on their heart," said Indian-origin Laxmi Mehta, Associate Professor at The Ohio State University in the US.

However, it should not deter or scare patients from undergoing the cancer treatment, instead allow them to make informed decisions with their doctor on the best option available, Mehta added, in the statement published in the journal Circulation.

In some cases, post cessation of the treatment and/or the addition of heart medicines can improve heart function.

Administering Doxorubicin -- a chemotherapy drug -- used in breast cancer therapy can also lead to the damage of heart cells, but, giving the drug slowly, rather than all at once, may lower the risk of heart failure.

Doctors were also developing more-targeted radiation to reduce risks, the statement said.

Adherence to a number of ideal heart health behaviours including being physically active, achieving and maintaining a healthy body weight could help.

Limiting the intake of foods rich in asparagine including dairy, beef, poultry, eggs, fish, nuts, soy and whole grains, while increasing the intake of fruits and vegetables may potentially help halt the spread of a deadly type of breast cancer, researchers, including one of Indian-origin, suggests.

Asparagine is an amino acid — the building blocks that cells use to make proteins.

The findings showed that limiting amino acid asparagine in laboratory mice with triple-negative breast cancer dramatically reduced the ability of the cancer to travel to distant sites in the body.

Now the Report dated 03/02/2018----Cancer is a progressive disease which starts from the mutation of a single cell and if left untreated, may be fatal.

When it comes to gender, women are more vulnerable to certain types of cancer. Breast cancer and cervical cancer are responsible for most cancer related deaths in women in India.

“In fact, a quarter of the world’s cervical cancer patients live in India. The recent reports of CONCORD 3 study has found that a breast cancer patient in India has 66% chance of surviving five years versus patients in Australia whose chance of survival would be 89%. Another alarming fact is that a quarter of the world’s cervical cancer patients are in India,” said Dr Sapna Nangia, Sr. Consultant (Radiation Oncology).

Early detection of cancer leads to higher chances of successful treatment. Breast cancer and cervical cancer are no different. Vigilance, awareness and proactiveness are the need of the hour.

On the occasion of World Cancer Day, Dr Nangia highlights few things that women can do to remain resolute against breast and cervical cancer.

-Awareness

Cancer has been linked to obesity, smoking, alcohol, poor hygiene, hormonal issues, polluted environment, unhealthy dietary habits and uneven sleeping patterns. It is imperative to be aware about cancer, its symptoms, causes and the essential need to be vigilant for the sake your health, especially if your life is hectic and stressful.

Dismissing cancer out of hand can have grave consequences. If you or anyone in your family has any history of breast cancer then the susceptibility of getting cancer increases. A person needs to be aware of their family’s medical history as well. There is no replacement for awareness.

Self-examination

Breast cancer usually develops as a lump in the breast tissue. It is imperative that every woman develops a self-examination routine to check her breast area for any lump formation. Similarly cervical cancer too has some warning signs which every woman must watch out for- excessive vaginal bleeding, especially in between the period cycle, formation of watery or frothy coloured discharge, pain in pelvic area during sexual intercourse, etc. These symptoms may be accompanied by fatigue, weight loss, swelling, pain concentration in one area of the body, etc.

One needs to actively looking out for their health. It will not take more than 10 minutes of your time, but it can go a long way in saving you hundreds of hours in treatment.

Regular check-up

Most women put off check-up even if they have symptoms like pain, fatigue or even coloured discharge, lump in breast, nipple discharge or anything which may appear out of the ordinary. Being busy, stressed, lazy or simple forgetfulness are not acceptable excuses when it comes to talking care of your health. The tests recommended for cancer screening are bilateral mammogram for screening of breast cancer and a PAP smear with or without testing for HPV for cervical cancer.

Meet your doctor

It is highly recommended that a woman after 30 years of age start opting for regular check-ups with her ob-gyn not only for her reproductive health, but also to screen for cancer. While googling your symptoms is a more attractive prospect, it is not a replacement for the guidance which a doctor can provide.

Now the Report dated—-20/01/2018---Researchers have developed a non-invasive blood test that can screen eight common types of cancer long before symptoms appear. Johns Hopkins Kimmel Cancer Center researchers said the test, called CancerSEEK is a unique non-invasive, multi-analyte test that simultaneously evaluates levels of eight cancer proteins and the presence of cancer gene mutations from circulating DNA in the blood. The blood test might help to identify the location of the cancer. Senior author Nickolas Papadopoulos said.

Report published on 01/02/2018

New Delhi: A cure for one of the deadliest diseases – Cancer – is something that scientists around the world have tirelessly worked towards discovering.

Now, in what could be a breakthrough that could lead to a potential cure for millions, researchers have found that injecting minute amounts of two immune-stimulating agents directly into solid tumours in mice can eliminate all traces of cancer in the animals.

A clinical trial was launched in January to test the effect of the treatment in humans with lymphoma, cancer of the lymphatic system.

The approach works for many different types of cancers, including those that arise spontaneously, said the study published in the journal Science Translational Medicine.

Perhaps one of the most terrifying diseases known to mankind, cancer affects not just the patient, but the people connected to them as well.

It can be a devastating ordeal because even if detected and treated early, cancer still has a reasonable chance to be fatal for the patient suffering from it and can immensely affect family and close friends too.

Report---

Amish society of America has the least cancer patient and the Telangana state (India) has the maximum number of cancer patients in India, I read sometimes back.

You might want to look at the tables here: Data for cancer frequency by country

The first table is below, there are others. The age-standardised rate for all cancers (excluding non-melanoma skin cancer) for men and women combined was 182 per 100,000 in 2012. The rate was higher for men (205 per 100,000) than women (165 per 100,000).Both sexes, The highest cancer rate for men and women together was found in Denmark with 338 people per 100,000 being diagnosed in 2012.

The age-standardised rate was at least 300 per 100,000 for nine countries (Denmark, France, Australia, Belgium, Norway, United States of America, Ireland, Republic of Korea and The Netherlands).

There are many reasons. The breasts get minimum blood supply.Often the cause could be the hidden infection. One infection creates different diseases. The diseases are treated but the hidden infection is ignored. This hidden infection causes cancer in breast, if left untreated. Only Single remedy system of Homoeopathy can remove/eliminate the hidden infection so as to get complete and permanent cure. Experience has taught that the hidden infection will not cause cancer in every patient. Only the weakest and prone to Cancer Constitution will get Cancer.
